Sometimes you just have to supply signed documents. In the old days that would entail the good old post office and a few postage stamps. Then came the fax machine and facsimile signatures became widely accepted. But who has, or uses, fax these days? We’re all using email.

Facsimile signatures in PDF documents have been possible for a while now if you can stump up the cash for Adobe’s Acrobat pro.

But for users of OSX Lion the built in Preview application now has the ability to easily add a facsimile signature to any PDF document.
